Breakfast at Hotel and departure for Cerveteri, one of the most important Etruscan city . Meet you local guide and visit the large Necropolis of Banditaccia. Proceed to Tarquinia, not far from the coast, famous for the magnificent frescoed Etruscan tombs. After lunch, departure for Tuscania, ancient Etruscan village. Proceed to Viterbo, medieval town and residence of several Popes. Check-in at the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast at Hotel and walking city tour. Departure for Bomarzo. Visit The “ holy wood” or “Monsters park “ designed in the late 16th cent. After lunch departure for Orvieto, important Etruscan site, for a walking tour including Duomo, Palazzo del Popolo and Pozzo di San Patrizio. Departure for Arezzo, check-in at Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Walking city tour including Piazza Grande, Church of San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca (1457). Lunch on your own. After lunch departure for San Gimignano. Time free for an aimless walk through the labyrinth of narrow street. Departure for Volterra. City tour. Check-in at Hotel,dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning city tour including, Museo Etrusco, one of the most important outside of Rome and Florence, Piazza dei Priori and the Rocca. After lunch departure for Pisa and upon arrival overview Piazza dei Miracoli, a lovely ensamble of medieval buildings, the Leaning Tower (1173), Duomo (13th Cent) and Baptistery (1302). Departure for Florence, check-in at the Hotel.
Breakfast. Morning city tour including Academy of Fine Arts, Cathedral, Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell tower, Ponte Vecchio. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Florence.
Breakfast at Hotel. Half day excursion to Fiesole, small town with Etruscan origins (600 B.C). Visit the archeological zone with a magnificent anphi-theatre, temples and Etruscan remains. Lunch at Restaurant over viewing Florence and return to the Hotel. Balance of the day free. Farewell dinner at Restaurant. Overnight.
