Trentino is very famous for having an important tradition of markets expecially in Trento, a city with a very Central European style that plans from 18 years the Christkindlmarkt, that rises in Germany in XIV century.

At Piazza Fiera you can buy decorations for Christmas tree, regional typical products, clothes, furnitures and many more to make your parties really unique.

In province there are others events, a good pretext to discover suggestive towns and walk under the snow:

In Pergine Valsugana, close to Trento, there is the Villaggio delle Meraviglie (Village of Wonders) until 6th January, where you can also do a trip on a train that travels around the surrounding valley, or choose an artistic workshop for your children.

Join some yearly recurrence as the Night of Fires (Feuer Nacht), on 8th December, when you will see the town enlighted by torches and candles, on 12th the day of Strozega di Santa Lucia, when kids drag along the streets cans and wires and launch balloons with letters to Santa Claus.
