DAY 01 ROME

After your arrival at Rome airport, your personal driver will lead you to the centre of the eternal city. Check – in at your hotel. Free time to relax. In the afternoon, start your walking tour discovering the authentic Roman cuisine. Your private guide will lead you to the Testaccio area, the original foodie neighborhood of Rome, where cucina romana (roman cuisine) was born. It is no coincidence that it’s known to Romans as the ‘heart of Rome’. Our guided 4-hour walking Food Tour lets you experience Rome like a local, in an actual neighborhood where people live, eat and shop. Featuring nine authentic food stops with delicious tastings, you get to escape the crowds and taste the best of what the city has to offer. Along the way, your guide will entertain and educate you with stories and insights into Rome’s culture and history, while exploring the city’s most fascinating offbeat landmarks. DAY 02 ROME

This morning, you will visit the world’s smallest country and the centre of the Catholic World, City of Vatican. Visit the impressive St. Peter’s square and Church, also inside Vatican Museums, the Raffaello’s rooms and the Sistine Chapel. After lunch, enjoy free time at your leisure. In the late afternoon, learn how to make 3 different kinds of fresh Italian pastas on a fun cooking course. Your expert instructor is sure to share his culinary secrets with you as you learn how to create classic Italian dishes. Delve in to your homemade Italian banquet at a local restaurant in the heart of Rome and enjoy a glass or 2 of wine with your meal, begin your half-day tour with a guided walk to Rome’s classic monuments and piazzas. Start at the grand Piazza Navona. Then let your guide navigate Rome’s throbbing streets as you wind towards the iconic Pantheon. End your 1.5-hour walking tour by making a wish at Trevi Fountain. Now it’s time to get cooking, retire to a nearby restaurant for your cooking class. Under the guidance of an expert chef, you’ll learn how to prepare a fantastic, 3-course Italian meal. Once you’ve prepared your dishes, take a seat in the restaurant and enjoy a long dinner with your fellow aspiring chefs.

DAY 03 ROME/CHIANTI AREA

This morning, enjoy a very scenic drive through the delightful Tuscan wine country, before reaching your first destination: one of the most beautiful and prestigious producers in the whole Chianti Classic region. You’ll begin in the vineyards where a professional sommelier will give you an explanation of the territory, the combination of local climate, soils and grape varietals that are the components that make wines so unique from region to region. You will visit the most prestigious wineries of this region and taste unique wines. Continue your tour, discovering the olive oil producer in this region. You will learn how the whole process works and taste marvelous oils. Your guide will take you to a fantastic local Trattoria to taste the best Chianti has to offer, for exemple the Bruschette (rustic bread dripping with extra virgin olive oil, basil and ripe tomatoes) Pappardelle alla Lepre (long flat pasta with wild rabbit) and various regional specialties. Vin Santo and Cantucci-dessert wine and Tuscan cookies, will finish off this amazing meal. Transfer to your hotel in Chianti area. Free time at your leisure.

DAY 04 CHIANTI AREA/FLORENCE

After breakfast, your private driver will lead you to Florence. Florence’s rich past as the cultural center of the Italian Renaissance can still be seen today in the wealth of art gathered here, and in the preservation of its splendid architecture. Enjoy a tour of the city that includes: visit of the Duomo and the Baptistry, the Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio. In the afternoon enjoy a “gelato making” tour. Florence is home to some of the best gelato shops and there is one virtually every other door. You will learn how to make traditional hand-made Gelato in Florence in an artisan “florentine gelateria”. Discover the best gelato shops in town who make their own creations by hand with local (and seasonal) ingredients, visit historical cafés, gourmet sweet shops and end your tour with a bonus stop to taste a gelato-friendly dessert wine. Night in Florence.

DAY 05 MODENA/BOLOGNA

This morning, head towards the city of Modena. On the way you will stop by a cheese producer to discover the secrets and get a tasting of the king of cheese: the Parmigiano Reggiano. After lunch, you will go to another producer to discover more about another gastronomic gem of this area: the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena. Enjoy a taste of this local product. Continue to Bologna. You will have dinner in a famous local restaurants. Nigth in Bologna.

DAY 06 BOLOGNA

Today, you will visit to the Slow Food Earth Market, set in the characteristic courtyard of the Cineteca di Bologna, for a stroll through the market stalls selling many different and varied locally grown and Slow Food Presidia products from the Emilia Romagna region: honey, cheeses, salami, confectionary, wines and beer. Lunch in a typical local restaurant to taste the Emilia Romagna cuisine. Free time to stroll through Bologna’s streets to explore the untouched medieval center. This afternoon is dedicated to the regions finest motoring brands: Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati. Depending on your taste and interest a visit can be arranged at their museum. Night in Bologna.

DAY 07 BOLOGNA /VENICE

After breakfast, your private driver will lead you to Venice. Check-in at your hotel. Enjoy a guided visit of the city: St Mark’s Square and Basilica, the Doges Palace and Rialto Bridge. Stroll through the little streets and alleyways among the little local shops. For lunch, you will eat in a 2 star Michelin restaurant, famous for its high quality fish and classic interpretations. If you are a fan of seafood pasta or raw fish this place will simply be heaven. In the afternoon enjoy free time at your leisure.

DAY 08 VENICE

In the morning, meet with your private English speaking guide in the hotel and departure with private boat to visit Murano, famous for its glass-ware and glass laboratories;Burano, with its colorful fishermen’s houses painted in bright colors and its lace-making laboratories. In the afternoon, enjoy a gourmet lagoon tour to experience the indigenous agricultural produce, the native fish species and fishing techniques, the wines and culinary local traditions.

DAY 09 DEPARTURE

After breakfast, private transfer to the airport for your flight home.
