PLACE:
Learn with the professional photographer how to take photo of historical monuments, buildings and fountains. Shoot in the daytime and review in the afternoon.

 

ANCIENT HISTORY: ROME

Day 1

Arrive in Rome, transfer to luxury hotel in the Rome city center. Debriefing with the photographer and presentation of the tour. Dinner in a selected Italian restaurant.

Day 2

Panoramic tour of the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Palatine Hill -the most famous of the 7 hills of Rome-. Admire the views of the Roman Forum and Nero’s Circus
Maximus.

Day 3

Enjoy a walk through History and photograph ancient monuments including Castel Sant’Angelo, and St. Peter’s Basilica, exploring Rome’s picturesque winding cobble stone streets. A true adventure and a unique way to visit Rome but also the perfect way to photograph this monumental city in a way most tourists never accomplish.

Day 4

Walk to Via dei Banchi, Piazza Navona and Piazza Pasquino. Visit Piazza Farnese, the Baths of Caracalla. Arrive in Campo di Fiori, where Giordano Bruno was burnt at the stake as a heretic. Continue to Palazzo Spada and see Boromino’s “perspective”. Enjoy Roma nightlife.

 

 

PEOPLE:
Learn with the professional photographer how to take photo of characteristic people and old typical Italian jobs. Shoot in the daytime and review in the afternoon.

 

VILLAGE: CIOCIARIA

Day 5 In Ferentino/Alatri/ Anagni

Tour in Ferentino, where the original ancient walls and gates still stand, enclosing the imposing, forties Acropolis that dominates the town center. Continue to Alatri, that is surrounded by extraordinary polygonal walls about 1 and a half mile long. Reach Anagni, to visit The Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Mary, in Romanesque style, the crypt is the Oratorio of Saint Thomas.

Day 6 In Veroli/ Arpino

Tour in Veroli, see the remains of great polygonal walls with many main and minor gates can be visited, admire the Fasti Verulani (1st cent. AD). Suggestive walk to Arpino, where Caius Marius, Marcus Tullius Cicero and Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa were born.

 

 

LANDSCAPE:
Learn with the professional photographer how to take photo of landscapes, countryside, winery on hills. Shoot in the daytime and review in the afternoon.

 

COUNTRYSIDE: TUSCANY

Day 07 In Crete Senesi

Tour immersed in the Crete Senesi. Here the distinctive gray coloration of the soil gives the landscape an appearance often described as lunar.

Day 08 In Chianti

Tour in Chianti area, among the best-preserved landscapes in Italy. Explore this glorious land in depth, everywhere there is something of compelling beauty, curiosity, and interest.

Day 9 in Val D’orcia

Tour in Val d’Orcia, the small strip from Pienza over San Quirico d’Orcia to Montalcino, and westwards to the area of Camigliano village and the valley of river Ombrone.

Day 10 DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport for your fight home.
