Greetings from Italy.
Some update about our situation here in Italy.
Starting from 9 March all Italy was a protected area and we could not move from our homes for other reasons than work or health reasons.
This strong restrictive measure got good results because infections have been reduced and also deaths.
For this reason the government has scheduled the following procedure to reach as soon as possible to our normal life:
- From 4 May people can move around easier and many factories and shops are opened;
- From 18 May all restaurants, bars, pizzeria, gelateria, hairdressers, beauties centers, beaches, gyms and swimming pools have reopened respecting the safety measures imposed by the regions. Even Museum are gradually reopening and people can move inside the region without any restriction.
People need to wear gloves and mask and wash hands frequently; - From 3rd June it will be possible to move among regions in Italy and it will be possible arrive In Italy from all other European countries without quarantine requirement;
- Rumors says that from 15 June it is possible to arrive in Italy from many other countries (includes USA) without the quarantine. This is not confirmed and it will reflect the next days situation.
