Last Saturday the Biennale opened in Venice.

The famous exhibition aims to celebrate and promote art in all its forms. Besides Art as tipically understood, it also displays Architecture, Cinema, Dance, Music and Teathre. In this way, it provides its visitors with a complete artistic experience.

“The Milk of Dreams” is the title of this year expo. It is a tribute to the surrealistic author Leonora Carrington’s story book. In her work she describes a magic world where life is constantly reinvented with imagination.

Carrington’s creatures and other transforming figures will accompany the visitors in an imaginery trip in the metamorphosis process that affects the human world.

Art will spread all over the city of Venice in a rich calendar of events and appointments.

The expo’s pavillons develop in 12 amazing locations around the area, starting from Cà Giustinian, which is the headquarter and hosts workshops. On the contrary, the Giardini della Biennale and the Arsenale will be the home for Art, Music, Dance, Teathre and Architecture performances.

Cinema-related events go on show in the Palazzo del Casino and in the Palazzo del Cinema, located in the venetian Lido. This amazind building and its surroundings host every year the International Film Festival in September.

The expo will host more than 200 artists from 58 Countries. Some installations not to miss? The USA Pavillon, for sure. But also the “Nature of the Game” in the Belgium Pavillon, “We Walked the Earth” in the Denmark Pavillon. Finally, the France Pavillon, which hosts “Les rêves n’ont pas de titre”
